Many of our loyal customers have reached out wondering whether our residential roofing contractors will still be available to perform services during the coronavirus pandemic and the ensuing Philadelphia shutdown of non-essential businesses. We are pleased to announce that yes, we are open and available to work!
Union Roofing personally reached out to Governor Wolf and his team to plead our case as to why our services are essential to keeping the residents of Philadelphia safe and comfortable in their homes. As a result, we obtained exemption status from the Governor’s office and are qualified to function as an essential business. We couldn’t be happier to share this news with all of you.

In order to keep you (our valued customer) and our contractors safe during this precarious time, we have initiated some new safe and healthy procedures. During your appointment, our roofing experts will:
- Wear protective gear, such as gloves and facemasks, to avoid catching or spreading germs
- Practice mindful personal hygiene, such as washing or disinfecting hands frequently
- Implement a no-handshake rule
- Exercise social distance and remain at least six feet away from customers
- Sanitize frequently touched objects, surfaces, and tools
Furthermore, our estimates are currently being provided over the phone and/or sent via email and/or DocuSign to ensure that there is no direct contact with our customers.
We kindly ask customers to show our contractors the same respect by applying similar health practices.
